The engineer will contact you at least 30 minutes before arriving on the day, by text or WhatsApp.
On arrival we will discuss with you a suitable place on the wall for the dish, and a route for the cable to the router. The router position will need to be within two metres of a power socket and ideally fairly central to the property for best coverage. We will need an adult to confirm by signature these details.
The box with your Starlink kit contains: a dish, power supply and 15M cable.
We will supply and fit a standard wall bracket, pole adapter and pole. This is all supplied free of charge to the customer by Starlink.
If a longer cable or alternative mount is required they can be purchased from the engineer at a reasonable cost, we usually carry 30m cables (£65), 60m cables (£95) and patio mounts for patio or flat roof installation (£140) on the van, please let us know if you may need one.
Once the installation is complete we will confirm the connection, set up your system with a SSID and password of your choosing and perform a speed test. We will then ask you to confirm the installation is complete.
We are also able to supply and fit both mesh and fully wired systems to increase coverage of your wifi around the property, just ask the engineer for a quote.
